Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is your pet policy?
    • We allow cats, and small, friendly dogs if enough space in the unit permits them. All dogs must have pet insurance with the property owner named as additional insured. Please note that our insurance company does not cover aggressive breeds of dogs (i.e. pitbulls, german shepherds, boxers, etc.).
  • I don’t meet the minimum income requirement. Can I use a co-signer?
    • If your household does not make 2.5x the rent obligation, you may use a co-signer. No co-signers are allowed if you use a housing program (see below).
  • Do you accept Section-8?
    • Yes. See more details below, under Housing Programs.

Housing Programs

  • We proudly accept Long Beach City Section 8 and VASH.
  • Sorry, we do not accept 3rd party checks (unless used with the Section 8 program).
  • No county vouchers. Long Beach City Section 8 ONLY. If you would like to transfer your voucher to Long Beach Housing, ask your worker if you are eligible to “port-in”.
  • Section-8 applicants must meet a minimum household income requirement, and must report their income to the Long Beach Housing Authority:
    • Studio: $1,100/month income reported to LBHA
    • 1 Bedroom: $1,300/month income reported to LBHA
    • 2 Bedrooms: $1,600/month income reported to LBHA
    • 3+ Bedrooms: $1,800/month income reported to LBHA
